Beginning her career on the coastal beaches of the Central Coast NSW, Jaala pushed the boundaries in all aspects of the creative hair industry with her consistent ideation of "making a woman look the best she possibly can".

 

This idea led Jaala to career heights in Sydney where her masterful cutting, colouring and styling skills became sought after. Entering the world of television, she became a key senior hairstylist at Channel 9 and 7, regularly requested by Celebrities for programs, advertisements and fashion photography. The shortlist of Australian talent includes Lorna Jane, Michelle Bridges, Sylvia Jeffries, Erin Molan, Emma Freedman, Tina Bursil, Allison Langdon, Georgie Gardner, Leila McKinnon and Sonia Kruger, where Jaala was appointed key hairstylist for the live television show The Voice in 2018/2019 and Big Brother 2020.

 

Amongst her success in television, other works include film, Magazine covers, editorials, red carpet awards, event styling and weddings. Having recently stepped into makeup, she enjoys exploring a new creative frontier where her coastal roots shine through her natural aesthetic. Whilst she travels to location nation wide, she is now based in Brisbane enjoying the new cityscape and the laid-back lifestyle Brissy has to offer.
